When Alphonso isn’t trying to start a dance party or kidding around with friends, he spends his time painting. Most people around the Studio call him “Fonz” or “Fonzo.” He started his painting career working on a collaborative piece that included painting pieces of wood, metal and stone to create an art installation.  He quickly expanded his painting to canvases, large and small. Alphonso enjoys the artistic process. He layers paint and brush strokes to create a sense of atmosphere. Fonzo’s other specialty is making fused glass jewelry. If you’ve bought glass jewelry in our shop before, it was likely personally crafted by Alphonso. He is extremely proud of his accomplishments and continues to develop his creativity every day.
