Ashley Parris

IOS-46.jpg

Ashley is a prolific painter and ceramic artist. A collection of her floral paintings were selected by a blind jury and are currently exhibited in downtown Hamilton. Her paintings are filled with a bright array of colors and her illustrative qualities create a lot of movement and interest in her work. Themes in her paintings often include flowers, rainbows, animals, landscapes and people. Another passion of Ashley’s is creating her unique ceramic animal bells. Ashley has created a vast collection of animal bells including pigs, cows, pandas, cats and dogs. In each piece, she uses the legs of the animal to make the sound of the bell. She has also made some of her favorite musicians into bells including Kenny Chesney holding his guitar. Ashley is an instructor for our Community Education Program and is a very encouraging art teacher.
