Melissa Talley

Melissa may seem quiet at first, but it doesn’t take long to experience and appreciate her incredibly creative and witty sense of humor. Her light hearted energy is apparent in her artwork and she enjoys a wide variety of art mediums. Melissa likes to take her time when choosing a project, and she usually settles on clay, glass, or drawing. Her drawings have been reproduced to create keychains, water bottles, and coffee cups. Melissa uses a variety of subjects in her artwork

including animals, aliens, flowers, and leafy plants. She enjoys using the brightest of colors and particularly loves the glossiest glazes she can find for her pottery. Melissa is an art perfectionist. She loves her clay to be perfectly smooth, symmetrically designed, and coated thoroughly with glaze. Her attention to detail comes through in her highly professional, handcrafted artwork.
