James almost always starts his day by getting out a big piece of paper and sketching. He uses graphite, colored pencils and markers. He often likes to depict his favorite characters from TV, movies, and classic video games. James also likes drawing animals, celebrities and race cars, and he uses his drawings as a starting place for works of art in clay, glass, and mosaic. He uses various techniques to transfer his drawings onto clay and occasionally draws and paints his illustrations directly onto fired clay. James also enjoys painting using his fun, animated drawings as the inspiration. James enjoys listening to music with his headphones on and takes his artwork very seriously. He is very proud of his creations and enjoys earning an income from his artwork. He has even created a number of custom illustrated beer mugs for a local tap and bottle shop.
